Overview & Reviews
The Chrysler PT Cruiser's sporty GT trim level has been dropped for 2008. Chrysler has also reduced the convertible model's trim level availability and made minor adjustments to feature availability. However, there will be a new special-edition model coming out later in the model year, the PT Street Cruiser Sunset Boulevard Edition.
- Roomy cabin with great utility, smooth ride, low price.
- Aged design, tepid acceleration with the base engine, less than stellar fuel economy, awkward seating position for shorter drivers.

the overheating PT CRUISER - 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser
By PAUL WILLIAMS` - January 26 - 10:00 amI bought a 2008 pt cruiser what a nightmare, bushings go every single year they went 3 times in 2 years. Also overheats when in idle a lot the dealership tells me its the engine cooling fan module thank god I bought the extended warranty on it. The module cost over 400 dollars plus labor. Not my favorite car but it heats well in the winter. Gas mileage is very poor for some reason its only a 4 cylinder car it shouldnt be that poor at all.

So over Chrysler! - 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser
By Chelsea - June 7 - 1:10 pmI loved driving my used 2001 Limited Edition PT Crusier but was having some problems with it come 2007 so I decided it was time for a new one..despite the previous problems I had, I figured buying a brand new one I wouldnt have any problems, so I purchased a brand new Cruiser on January 1, 2008. Do you think its been a joy? Not one bit! I have had nothing but problems since day one! It has been in for balancing over 3 times, the tires have been indexed multiple times, and now it squeaks when I go over anything that makes the car bouce. Its so annoying! Body creaks shouldnt be happening on a less then one year old car! I am over my car and will never buy a Chrysler again!
